JULY 20 — THE LAUNCH
The night that started everything.
The Araam Gala was our launch — the night Araam went from an idea to a room full of women who believed in it. An absolute dream of a night, and everything Araam is becoming.
What the night looked like
A raffle with hand-painted prizes. An essential oil station where guests blended their own. A meditation booth — headphones on, world off — where many guests tried meditation for the first time. A flower bar. Mocktails and food from local Muslim-owned vendors. A 360 booth and a glam booth, because rest and celebration can share a room.
The people who made it
Built by the OG Araam girls and a community of collaborators — photographers, artists, a live portrait painter, matcha and food vendors who shared their stories along with their craft. Every vendor in the room was part of the story, not just a table.
What we learned
People traveled across state lines to be there. Women we’d never met found out about us, showed up, and posted about it. We nearly cried. It was the first proof of the thing Araam is built on: Muslim women want this, everywhere.
That night fueled what came next — pop-up Pilates across the US, the Araam Mind app, and chapters led by women in their own cities.
